Winter: CHOICE OF CLOTHING: COTTON OR DRYFIT

The temperature drops quietly indicate that we are approaching winter, winter immediately connects us cold to freezing temperature. It is important to dress well and pay particular attention to the extremities of the human body.

Through experience during my military career, I have very often froze my fingers and toes. Is it better gloves or mittens, the answer is mittens! With the gloves your fingers are all insulated so more sensitive to cooling quickly. With mittens or an excellent option (trigger mitt) mitt that only the index finger is isolated from the other fingers. This last option allows you more mobility to handle your things. We tend to neglect the importance of covering our heads well, yet it is the part of the body with which we lose a lot of heat.

Having participated in several exercises in both summer and winter, I was able to see the importance of choosing the right equipment for my clothes and underwear. I wore a lot more cotton clothing, I noticed quite quickly that the humidity was quickly seizing me. Today we have to think about mobility, efficiency and being ready for point B. Choose DRYFIT clothing as much as possible, a fabric that breathes and dries quickly and allows you to save space and weight.

Have a good winter
